Abstract

Bloch oscillations have recently been observed in semiconductor superlattices by a number of techniques.1 These experiments have directly demonstrated the frequency tunability of the oscillations by the static electric field. However, the spatial amplitude of the Bloch wave-packet oscillation has not been determined yet.
