Tunable, up-converted stimulated ultraviolet Møllow triplet via four-wave mixing

Abstract

Two new types of upward-converted, tunable, stimulated ultraviolet emissions and one fixed frequency type are generated via two-photon near-resonant 3S1/2- 5S1/2 pumping of a Na vapor.1 All observed tunable components near 330 run are associated with the J = 3/2 multiplet and none with the J = 1/2 multiplets of 4P state.
