Abstract

Photodarkening is one of the nonlinear processes occurring in semiconductor- doped glasses (SCDG) that leads to considerable changes in the nonlinear properties of these materials, such as decrease of the nonlinear susceptibility and strong shortening of the response time, but this process has not been yet completely clarified.
