Abstract

In this report we consider the effect of the multiple-transverse-mode character of nonlinear cavities with phase-conjugate (PC) mirrors on their self-starting generation. As examples of such systems we consider the semilinear PC mirror and the system of two coupled double PC mirrors (see Fig. 1).
