Abstract

We report recent observations of the effect of external magnetic fields on a THz beam. We demonstrate the control of the transient Hall current in photoconductive emitters (unbiased or biased semiconductors), and therefore we are able to switch the radiation direction and change the polarization of a THz beam, by using an external magnetic field.
