Abstract

Various calculations exist for the determination of the degenerate (self-effect) two-photon absorption (2PA) coefficient ß11 in semiconductors, e.g., Weiler′s calculation including nonparabolicity.1 Experimental measurements of 2PA coefficients2 confirm the band-gap scaling and’ spectrum predicted by these calculations using a limited band structure.
