Abstract
We report a new method for measuring the phase dispersion of χ(3)-The method exploits the beats resulting from the interference between the nonlinear polarizations excited by light beams of different frequencies.1,2 In principle, it can be applied to a variety of materials for which self-diffraction experiments are feasible.
