Modulating the Fundamental Resonances in Near Field Coupled Planar Terahertz Metamaterials

Abstract

We present the effect of displacements between the resonators of planar THz metamaterials on their near field coupling and hence the THz wave modulation. A semi-analytical model is used to describe the numerically simulated results.
