Combined Effect of Nonlinearities on Amplifier Placement Schemes

Abstract

We perform a comparative analysis of two amplifier schemes in commercially available simulator. We find IUFS scheme is better for FWM & EFS scheme for ASE dominated networks respectively & critical length of EFS scheme is greater than IUFS
