Multiple exponential decay for sensing rate enhancement in fiber loop ring down spectroscopy

Abstract

A data rate enhancement scheme for fast chemical sensing is proposed using fiber-loop. Multiple pulses are launched in time division multiplexing scheme which will improve the sensing speed. The system is demonstrated for chemical sensing.
