Sensitivity Enhancement in a Grating Assisted Double-Dip SPR Based Refractive Index Sensor

Abstract

We design and analyze a metallic grating assisted surface plasmon dual-resonance based refractive index sensor. Optimization of grating parameters results in 3.5 times more sensitivity as compared to conventional sensor.
