Natural Photosynthesis – New Theoretical Insights and Optical Techniques

Abstract

I will talk about the non-adiabatic energy funnel mechanism in natural photosynthesis (Tiwari et al. PNAS 2013), some new mechanistic questions that are posed by this model and later experiments, and our ongoing experimental efforts to ultimately answer these questions on the level of single photosynthetic complexes.
