Impairment Aware Routing and Spectrum Allocation in Flexgrid Optical Networks

Abstract

We propose an algorithm which serves mixed line rate connection requests in an impairment aware flexgrid network in the presence of physical layer impairments. It also increases the spectrum utilization and reduces the blockage of higher rate demands.
