A Novel Spectrum Allocation Scheme for Differentiated Survivability Supported Elastic Optical Networks

Abstract

In differentiated service enabled survivable optical networks, optimum spectrum allocation (SA) is a major concern for network operator. We propose a novel SA scheme that optimizes operator’s revenue in such networks using sliding spectrum partition.
