Generation of Supercontinuum with nJ Pulses in 450 – 1700 nm Range

Abstract

Broad band supercontinuum is generated by using a photonic crystal fiber pumped with nJ pulses of Ti: Sapphire oscillator. The supercontinuum is used to estimate the wavelength dependent nonlinear optical parameters of a saturable absorber.
