Abstract

We present a 1-Watt, low noise single frequency continuous-wave singly resonant optical parametric oscillator. When locked on a Fabry-Perot cavity, the 1.65 µm non-resonant OPO idler is narrowed down to a sub-kHz linewidth over 2s.
