BER Analysis of Free Space Optical Communication Systems with Channel State Information Derived from Reference Continuous Wave Light

Abstract

An optimum optical signal detection scheme is proposed for reducing the scintillation effect. A BER analysis of the signals is made using the instantaneous fading coefficient determined by a reference continuous light, shows an improvement in the performance.
