Generation of Clean Femtosecond Pulse from All-Normal-Dispersion Mode-locked Yb-doped Fiber Laser and it’s Amplification

Abstract

We report generation of clean 160fs pulses from mode-locked Yb-doped fiber laser in all-normal-dispersion configuration. By optimizing the output coupling 3.2 nJ of pulse energy is obtained and amplified to 7nJ without appreciable degradation of pulse quality.
