Depolarization Characteristics of Non Spherical Gold Nano Particles

Abstract

Mueller matrix measurements on non-spherical nano-particles (rods, tetra-pods, flowers and stars) reveal that rods result in highest depolarization and that the depolarization is larger for circularly polarized light compared to that for linearly polarized light.
