Entangled Photon Generation from a Single Quantum Dot in Microcavity

Abstract

A biexciton plays only a minor role in entangled photon generation from a quantum dot in microcavity. The rate of entangled photons becomes almost 100% due to the photon blockade in the strong-coupling regime.
