Spectral optimization for human-centric lighting using a genetic algorithm and a modified Monte Carlo method

Abstract

The performance of two approaches, a genetic algorithm and a modified Monte Carlo method, for quickly optimizing spectra for desired chromaticity, luminous flux and circadian effect are compared when applied to a 10-channel LED system.
