Degradation mechanism and enhancement solutions for field-effect passivation in nanostructured Si solar cells

Abstract

Surface passivation of a nanostructured Si solar cell plays a crucial role in collecting photogenerated carriers by mitigating recombination at surface. Degradation mechanism of the field-effect passivation is revealed and novel enhancement solutions are proposed.
