Abstract

An efficient thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) emitter (DMAC-TRZ), that not only shows high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY, ≥90%) in doped films but also possesses low concentration quenching and high PLQY (83%) in neat films, was reported. As a result, highly efficient TADF organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) with external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 26.5% was implemented using DMAC-TRZ as the emitting dopant and comparable electroluminescence (EL) efficiency (with EQE of 20%) had also been achieved by using it as the non-doped (neat) emitting layer.
