Optical Properties of Quantum-Dot-Based Surface Photonic Nanostructures in Ge/Si Quantum Dot Solar Cells

Abstract

We report the optical properties of the surface photonic nanostructures fabricated from Ge quantum dots, which exhibits direction-dependent light transmission and enhance near-infrared optical absorption in Ge/Si quantum dot solar cells.
