Experimental Investigation of High-Frequency-Precision All-Optical Wavelength Conversion Using Four Wave Mixing, an Optical Comb and SSB Modulation

Abstract

We investigate all-optical wavelength conversion based on FWM, using an optical- comb-generated pump with SSB modulation. A minimum 2.5 GHz shift from the original pump, and clear eye-openings for the converted NRZ-QPSK signal was achieved.
