Mode-coupling Crosstalk Compensation through Nonlinear- optical Loop Mirror (NOLM)-based Reservoir Computing

Abstract

We propose a nonlinear-optical loop mirror (NOLM)-based reservoir computing to deal with the collected data from the experiment of a 3-mode fiber system, enabling the mode-coupling crosstalk compensation with the Q2 improvement of 11.95dB.
