Abstract

A spontaneous self-assembled bilayers structure with BenMeIm-Cl ionic liquid bottom layer and a photoactive top layer is presented via a single spin-coated step of the mixture solutions. A high power conversion efficiency of 8% was achieved for PTB7:PC71BM IPSCs.
