We report on the photorefractive properties of rhodium doped relaxor Pb(Zn<sub>1/3</sub>Nb<sub>2/3</sub>)O<sub>3</sub>-PbTiO<sub>3</sub> (PZN-PT) crystals. We have grown two Rh doped 0.91PZN­-0.09PT single crystals with different Rh concentrations, one is 0.01 wt.% and the other is 0.2 wt.%, with flux solution method. They were cut, polished, and poled along [110] direction. Two wave mixing experiments are done at the wavelengths 488, 633, 788, and 1064 nm. We obtained the two-wave mixing gain coefficient of 21 cm<sup>-1</sup> at 488 nm, and improvement of the gain at 788 and 1064 nm. We also measured photovoltaic effect and obtained the maximum value of 900 V/cm at 532nm in 0.2 wt.% Rh doped PZN-PT.
