Abstract
Influence of the circular dichroism on the effective gain and polarization characteristics of light waves in two-wave interaction in absorbing cubic photorefractive crystals of -cut with regard to the optical activity, the electro-optical, photoelastic and piezoelectric effects is investigated at arbitrary value of the orientation angle describing orientation of the grating vector. It is shown that influence of the light absorption in a complex with the circular dichroism results in increase of the effective gain in big interval of values of the orientation angle, and in certain cases it results in shift of the maximum in dependence of the effective gain on the orientation angle.
