Temperature dependence of terahertz emission from InMnAs

Abstract

We observe a temperature-induced polarity reversal of the emitted terahertz field from the dilute magnetic semiconductor InMnAs under femtosecond laser illumination. It is related to the competition between the photo-Dember current and the surface-field-induced current.
