Contribution of Extra-cerebral and Cerebral Hemodynamic Signals During Exercise Quantified with Time-domain Near Infrared Spectroscopy

Abstract

Time-domain near infrared spectroscopy was used to quantify hemodynamic signals during physical exercise and rest. Changes in extra-cerebral hemodynamics relative to rest are significant and their quantification may prevent data interpretation bias.
