Non-invasive assessment of skin roughness through speckle pattern analysis

Abstract

A novel system for the application of laser speckle analysis for in vivo skin roughness assessment is presented. Our algorithm exploits scattering statistics for roughness parameters - the height deviation () and correlation length (T).
