Abstract
Over past decades, organic molecules have been extensively investigated for applications in nonlinear optical (NLO) devices. In contrast to inorganic materials (such as KDP and lithium niobate, etc.), a great variety of organic molecules can be devised for such applications because of the fast nonlinear optical response and flexibility of synthetic schemes.
