Abstract
Spin-to-orbital AM conversion takes place when an initially paraxial circularly polarized beam is tightly focused, but the OAM converted from SAM has been demonstrated small. In this work, the ultrafast orbital rotation up to 220 r/s has been found when the gold nanoparticles are trapped by a circularly polarized femtosecond Gaussian beam, and the mechanism is attributed to the nonlinear effects.
