Manipulating Single and Multiple Biomolecules with Dynamic Temperature Fields

Abstract

Inhomogeneous time dependent temperature fields generated by optically heated plasmonic structures are used to manipulate single and multiple macromolecules. Combined with optical feedback, arrays of micro-beakers with virtual potential landscapes are generated.
