Concentrating Photovoltaic Systems Using Micro-Optics

Abstract

Molded plastic micro-optics with 100X solar gain are described. A ±40 acceptance cone is allowed so the lens arrays can be mounted on one-axis heliostats and give achromatic, stationary images on photo-voltaic cells.
