We report an optical analogue model of Casimir effect in photonic crystal fiber (PCF). We launched two successive soliton pulses and created a one-dimensional time domain trap by exciting optical event horizon. We showed that radiations trapped inside causes the trap to collapse in time domain due to reflection at the group velocity horizon. Such collapse causes continuous blue shift of the trapped radiations. We simulated the phenomenon using generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation and showed that the event is similar to Casimir effect.
