Abstract

Different schemes for mid-infrared frequency upconversion based imaging and spectroscopy is considered in terms of spectral coverage, field-of-view, spatial and spectral resolution, and speed. Both broadband and narrowband, continuous wave and pulsed systems are considered. Examples of upconversion sensing, spectroscopy and imaging is presented.
