Imaging an object is not always a straightforward task. There are plenty of situations where this can be challenging. Here I will first present Two-Color Dark-Field (TCDF), a novel microscopic technique capable of unambiguously identify plasmonic nanoparticles that are immersed in complex environments, such as biological cells. Secondly, I will show our current efforts in the field of ghost imaging towards imaging with low levels of light.
