Giant Chirality Evolution in Individual Plasmonic Nanoparticle

Abstract

We reported a novel synthesis of Au nanoparticles that adopted ligand-assisted strategy to produce novel morphologies with extraordinary optical properties. Remarkably, the resulting Au nanoparticles have complex surface structures with sub-10 nm size. This synthesis strategy enabled a high degree of morphology control and resulting strong optical activity through colloidal synthesis.
