Abstract

The variable stripe length method is used to investigate the optical losses of injection and contact layers suitable for electrically driven organic lasers. For aluminium doped zinc oxide optical losses of 150 cm−1 could be observed, which is more than 6 times lower than the optical losses of indium tin oxide.
