Abstract

Molecular imaging using Photothermal Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) was demonstrated with antibody-conjugated gold nanoparticles in phantoms and three-dimensional tissue constructs. Cells over-expressing the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) were differentiated from under-expressing cells in three-dimensions.
