Abstract

Precise modulation of polarization and phase is substantially important for high reflectance mirror used for free space quantum key distribution. In this report, this mirror is designed by metal-dielectric multilayers. The measured results demonstrate that the reflectance is higher than 95% at all working wavelengths, the polarization sensitivity is as small as 0.2% and the extinction ration is higher than 25000:1 at the quantum encoding wavelength.
