Investigation of SiO2-Al2O3-nanolaminates for protection of silver reflectors

Abstract

For many applications, the high reflectivity of Ag is required. Concerning optical performance and material properties, the suitability of SiO2-Al2O3-nanolaminates for the protection of Ag is demonstrated. Potential defect mechanisms were considered.
