Measuring Optical Scatter at Material Interfaces Using a Hemisphere

Abstract

Interfacial light scatter within a substrate was measured using a hemisphere. The hemisphere corrects the problem of refractive beam displacement allowing the bidirectional reflectance distribution function within the substrate to be determined.
