Design and manufacture of metal-dielectric long wavelength cut-off filters

Abstract

The design and manufacture of a long wavelength cut-off filter based on metal-dielectric layers is presented. The filter has a pass band that covers the entire visible range. Its stop band extends well into the infrared range with blocking better than 4×10−4.
