Abstract

We propose and investigate two distinct ways for direct measurement of group delay(GD) from white light spectral interferogram: numerically extract GD information from static spectral interferogram by wavelet method and direct GD measurement by scanning spectrally resolved method. Compared with phase measurement method, the direct determination of GD can achieve better accuracy by avoid one time of differentiation
