Abstract

Data buses are used in computer, Industrial-control, electronic switching, and other systems where data are transmitted from a. central control location to several remote receiver locations via a common transmission line, normally a twisted pair or a coaxial cable. Current dividers, transformers, and optical isolators are typical devices that extract or tap a fraction of the electrical power in the transmission line at each receiver location.
