Design and development of electro-optical interferometric microscopy for electric field imaging at nano and micrometer scales

Abstract

Herein we propose a novel device combining confocal scanning microscope with Mach-Zehnder interferometer with introduced synchronised and homodyne detections. The last two methods permit to go to micro and nanometer scales in electric field measurements.
