Abstract

This publication describes on possibility to identify a suitable set of production parameters for polishing process. All influence factors were analysed to find parameters with high significance. Due to the huge amount of data, a intelligent experimental design was formulated. Parameters like path distance, pin material, glass material, feed rate and rotational speed have been varied but from crucial importance have been the differences between materials.
